You should dress not how you are feeling, but how you want to feel.

Wearing certain things can send messages to people, revealing your true nature or emotional status, such as:

- Live in your "mum outfit" of jeans and a hoodie: you put the needs of your family before your own.
- Wearing only neutrals and largely devoid of accessories: you might be stuck in a psychological rut, too comfortable in yourself and too afraid to draw attention to yourself.
- Visablly covered in designer logos: you feel like broadcasting wealth will make sure you are treated well by others.
